PAST
Brand identity, brand extension (illustrations & patterns), social media engagement, website & wireframe, photography, event planning, art direction.

Collaboration
Jayme Lang Photography & real women of Fraser Valley.

Project Objectives
To raise awareness regarding the multidimensional impact ‘fast fashion’ has on a local and global scale. PAST encourages people to think critically and make more ethical choices when shopping.
Using real women who practice slow fashion in their personal lives to raise awareness, and to educate the local community through a social media campaign.

Target Audiences
All ages and genders within the community, with a special focus on women ages 18-40.

Design Issues
It is important for the project to empower people and encourage them to think differently about ‘fast fashion’ versus ‘slow fashion’ without making
anyone feel ashamed.

Design Process
A very personal look at ‘fast fashion’ through documentaries and research inspired the idea of gathering real women to share stories; including ethical brand awareness and alternative options that are both ethical and economic through thrift store shopping.

Outcome
A brand identity that is a movement in the community towards ethical selections in our everyday lives.
